Flexible MOQ knitwear manufacturer

Flexible MOQ Knitwear Manufacturing Without Compromising Quality

As a custom sweater manufacturer specializing in knitwear, TYKNIT reviews each project by style, yarn, color, size and craftsmanship. We help fashion brands plan practical production quantities around the actual construction and branding requirements.

Our goal is not to compete on the lowest quantity or price. We protect product quality, factory workflow and reliable service so a project can move from sample approval to repeatable bulk production.

Typical starting points

Clear quantity guidance without a one-size-fits-all promise

These are practical starting points for project planning. Final feasibility is confirmed after reviewing the actual style and order breakdown.

Style review

Standard machine-knit styles

Suitable computer-flat-knit styles typically start from a project-reviewed quantity per style and color.

Craft review

Styles with additional craftsmanship

More complex construction, embroidery, beading, crochet or hand-finishing typically starts from a project-reviewed quantity per style and color.

Branding review

Full private-label program

A coordinated label, hangtag, care label and branded packaging program typically starts from a project-reviewed quantity across one project.

Size and color planning

Each size-and-color combination generally starts from a project-reviewed quantity. When several sizes are included, their combined total must also meet the applicable minimum for that style and color.

Standard machine-knit styles

A practical starting point based on the actual style

Computer-flat-knit sweaters, cardigans, knit tops and similar styles with a clear structure and available yarn can typically start from a project-reviewed quantity per style and color.

  • Reviewed by style, color, gauge and yarn availability
  • Size allocation planned before order confirmation
  • Sample approval remains the reference for bulk production

Additional craftsmanship

Complex knitwear needs a craftsmanship-based quantity review

Styles with additional manual work or more demanding production control generally start from a project-reviewed quantity per style and color. This protects workmanship consistency and a realistic production schedule.

How quantity is reviewed

Five factors shape a workable production plan

MOQ is a production decision, not a marketing slogan. We review the full project before confirming the most realistic starting quantity.

01

Style

Construction, gauge and stitch structure determine the production path.

02

Color

Yarn availability and dyeing requirements affect the workable quantity.

03

Size

Each size-and-color combination generally starts from a project-reviewed quantity.

04

Craft

Embroidery, beading, crochet and hand-finishing require additional planning.

05

Branding

Labels, tags and packaging can have separate component-supplier minimums.

Multi-style knitwear collection with coordinated yarn and color development

Multi-style collection planning

Coordinate the project while protecting each style minimum

Several styles can share one development plan, yarn story, color direction and delivery schedule. However, each individual style must still meet its own workable production minimum.

We do not combine multiple undersized styles simply to reach one total. This protects production quality and avoids pushing industry quantities below a responsible level.

Private-label options

Private-label quantities depend on the selected components

A coordinated program covering woven labels, care labels, hangtags, size marks and branded packaging generally starts from a project-reviewed quantity across one project.

Projects below a project-reviewed quantity can still be reviewed for selected branding items. The workable option depends on the component supplier minimum, setup method and printing requirements.

Sample-to-bulk control

Confirm the product before confirming production

The approved sample and confirmed specifications provide the main references for yarn, measurements, workmanship, trims, labels and packaging during bulk production.

  1. 01Review the reference image, sample or tech pack
  2. 02Develop and approve the knitwear sample
  3. 03Confirm quantity, sizes, colors and branding
  4. 04Plan bulk production and quality checkpoints

Frequently asked questions

Questions buyers ask before sampling

Send your expected quantity even if the final breakdown is not ready. We can help identify the information needed for a practical review.

Can a standard sweater project start from a project-reviewed quantity?

Yes. Suitable standard machine-knit styles can generally start from a project-reviewed quantity per style and color, subject to yarn, gauge, construction and size-allocation review.

How are sizes and colors divided?

As a working guideline, each size-and-color combination generally starts from a project-reviewed quantity. The style-and-color total must also meet its applicable production minimum.

Can several styles be combined to reach one minimum?

We can coordinate one collection as a project, but every individual style still needs a workable production quantity. Several undersized styles cannot be combined to bypass the minimum for each style.

Can smaller projects use private-label options?

Yes. Selected labels, hangtags, care labels and packaging can be reviewed for suitable projects. Availability depends on the component, setup method and supplier minimum.
