Why sample physically
Why Physical Sampling Still Matters
AI previews, digital references and product images can communicate design direction, but they cannot confirm actual handfeel, garment weight, stretch, drape, measurements, fit, color appearance or workmanship.
For knitwear, yarn, gauge, stitch density, construction, washing and finishing can all change the final result.
For a patterned sweater, review motif size and stitch definition before treating a drawing as a production specification. Compare coarse and fine gauge for patterns.
