Which Construction Route Fits Your Reference?

Similar openwork effects can use different construction methods. We review your reference and confirm the proposed route through a physical sample.

Computerized flat knitting in the workshop — Construction choices become knitted panels before garment assembly.

Hand crochet: Review motifs, joins, density, weight, measurements and how consistently the design can be repeated.
Machine-knit openwork: Review which reference details suit the yarn, gauge and stitch, and which design changes may be needed.
Knit construction with selected handwork: Identify the areas made by each method, the joining details and the points requiring sample approval.

The final method, materials, measurements and workmanship depend on technical review. These routes are not interchangeable for every style.

Crochet feasibility

We check whether the reference style can be made with stable motif size, repeatable stitch density and realistic garment weight.

Labor time and cost

Typical hand-crochet sampling takes 3–4 weeks after specifications and materials are confirmed. Complex motifs or assemblies may require longer and can affect Flexible MOQ review and the bulk schedule.

Sizing and fit risk

Openwork, stretch, motif connection and garment weight can change fit, so measurements should be reviewed before bulk production.

Suitable product types

Crochet tops, crochet dresses, beach sets, patchwork panels, trims and appliqué can be reviewed by style complexity.

Core factory operations

Computerized flat knitting is carried out on our own 3GG–14GG machines. Linking, finishing, final quality inspection and packing are managed through the TYKNIT factory workflow.

Approved local resources

Hand crochet, selected embroidery or decorative work, and approved capacity support may be coordinated through vetted local production resources when a project requires it.

TYKNIT remains accountable

We retain responsibility for technical requirements, scheduling, in-process checks, final QC and shipment coordination, whether a step is completed in-house or through an approved resource.
